
Climate change Knowledge resources
Climate Change is a reality and its impact pose a serious threat to Kenya’s development achievement. In order to achieve the aspirations of Vision 2030 and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), resources in relation to climate change are of significant importance. The resources can be defined as something that is available for use or that can be used for support or help address climate change issues. Ministry of Environment and Forestry/CCD is actively involved in the development of various resources to support climate change knowledge base
The following climate change resources are available
Policy Guides and Frameworks
Ministry of Environment and Forestry/CCD has published several policy documents to guide the country to address climate change. They include,
- The Climate Change Act, 2016
- The National Adaptation Plan 2015-2030
- The National Climate Change Action Plan 2013-2017
- The National Climate Change Response Strategy
- The National climate change policy framework
Research Initiatives
Over the last few years, several research initiatives have been conducted in relation to climate change. The knowledge portal will try and avail them online that can help to address issues with a climate-change focus.

This will include lessons learned, Magazines and any other climate change related information

Visitors to our library on Ngong road will have access to,

It is important to note that the resources used are also aligned to global goals such as Agenda 2063 and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Some of these resources also include research materials that have been published by independent recognized institutions.
